We offer competitive compensation and benefits, including health/dental/vision insurance, HSA, 120 hours of PTO annually, 9 paid holidays, 401(k) contribution of up to 4%, and employee ownership with profit sharing.
$18 - $24 per hour DOE Responsibilities: Embody Solar Impact Core ValuesFollow and continuously improve Solar Impact processesInstall electrical equipment per NEC guidelinesDemonstrate proficiency in bending conduitCollaborate with a team to complete all tasks related to solar installations (e.g., job preparation, roof layout, racking, attachment, and system monitoring)Maintain professionalism while interacting with customers and team membersEnsure a safe work environment by complying with Solar Impact safety protocols and OSHA regulationsKeep tools and parts organized on installation vehiclesSafely operate and maintain company vehicles and equipmentParticipate in all required safety and solar installation trainingCommunicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient project progressEvaluate completed projects to identify areas for improving efficiencyMeet attendance and punctuality requirements set by Solar ImpactWork overtime, nights, and weekends when necessary to meet project demandsTravel and work out of town as needed Qualifications: 1 to 3 years of prior electrical experience or participation in the Electrical Apprentice program strongly preferredA valid driver's license and insurability are requiredMust reside in the greater Gainesville areaA High School Diploma or GED is requiredMust be capable of working at great heightsAble to kneel, bend, crouch, and climb ladders for prolonged periodsMust be able to stand for 10-hour shiftsMust be able to lift at least 75 poundsMust comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirementsMust be able to work in extreme hot or cold temperaturesAvailability to work overtime and weekends is requiredMust be safety-conscious and continuously work in a manner that prevents accidentsIf you cannot pass a pre-employment drug screen, please do not apply About Company Solar Impact, Inc. is a licensed electrical and solar installation contractor in North Central Florida with a seasoned team of solar professionals
