Service Technician I - Utility Scale Solar - Road Warriors Needed!

Job Summary

The Service Technician I will work closely with the Director of Field Operations , Commissioning & Warranty Manager, and other Service Technicians to ensure that the customer’s needs are satisfied appropriately and t imely

The successful candidate must be willing to travel up to 90 % of a given calendar year As a Service Technician I, you must be willing and able to learn the intricacies of Array’s tracker portfolio, work in a team environment, and aid in retrofits, commissioning, and repowering efforts

Key Job Responsibilities: Support field efforts on the following, but not limited to: Retrofits Repowering Commissioning Service Repairs Ensure tools and equipment needed during a variety of field-related efforts are operating properly Managing Concur’s expense reporting system Submit Field Service Reports on daily activities Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Willingness for extensive, frequent travel – up to 90% Must have a valid Driver’s License E xperience using basic hand tools Basic math skills Entry-level knowledge of mechanical systems Entry-level knowledge of electrical systems Strong leadership skills Strong communication skills Strong problem-solving skills Strong customer-facing presence Dexterity required to perform manual labor in extreme temperatures Preferred qualifications: Utility-scale solar experience Utility-scale construction knowledge Entry-level Microsoft Office Suite experience Entry-level Salesforce experience Experience with Mechanical and Electrical tools OSHA 10 or Higher – Preferred NFPA 70E – Preferred Physical Demands: Lifting requirements: 50lbs Standing hours: 7 5 % Computer hours: 25 % At Array Tech, Inc., we strive to lead with our culture, and believe that our people are a key enabler of our future state
