Job Description

Overview: We are seeking a motivated and skilled Solar Engineer to join our team The Solar Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing solar energy systems to meet project requirements and maximize performance

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in solar engineering, proficiency in relevant software tools, and a passion for renewable energy.

Responsibilities

  • Design solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential, commercial, and utility-scale projects, considering factors such as site conditions, shading analysis, and energy requirements. Conduct solar resource assessments and energy yield predictions to optimize system performance and maximize energy production. Perform detailed engineering analyses, including system sizing, equipment selection, and electrical design, to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, architects, and installers, to coordinate project implementation and ensure seamless integration of solar systems. Provide technical support during project development, including reviewing proposals, conducting site visits, and addressing technical inquiries from clients and stakeholders. Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulations in the solar energy industry, and integrate relevant advancements into project designs and strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
  • Experience in solar engineering, including design, analysis, and optimization of solar PV systems. Well versed with design software such as PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar tools. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to solar energy systems. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
