What You'll Do

• Conduct Solar Consultations Meet with homeowners through in-home or virtual appointments.
• Analyze energy usage and identify opportunities for solar savings. Present customized solar solutions with clear financial benefits and return on investment. Manage the Full Sales Cycle Educate homeowners on solar ownership and financing options. Guide customers through available financing programs, including loans, PPAs, and TPO options. Handle objections professionally and ethically. Close deals confidently while providing an outstanding customer experience. Own Your Pipeline Manage your leads and sales opportunities from consultation through installation. Self-generate business opportunities (preferred). Track and manage your sales pipeline effectively. Build long-term customer relationships and referral opportunities.

Compensation

& Earning Potential This is a 100% commission-based, 1099 independent contractor position Expected Earnings $150,000 - $300,000 annually for experienced solar closers

Qualifications

Required Minimum of 2 years of solar sales experience. At least 1 year of solar closing experience. Proven ability to independently close solar sales.

• Strong understanding of solar financing options, including: TPO (Third-Party Ownership) Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) Solar loans Self-motivated and disciplined work ethic. Ethical and consultative sales approach. Preferred Illinois-based candidates. Experience conducting in-home sales presentations. Ability to self-generate leads and referrals.
