Job Description

Electrical Engineer Primary Responsibilities: Prepare AC and DC electrical engineered design for commercial solar photovoltaic projects Prepare electrical CAD drawings Provide analysis of electrical energy efficiency measures to include annual energy savings, expected first cost, and economic metrics such as ROI Required Professional Attributes: Degreed electrical engineer Minimum three years of experience specializing in analysis and design of commercial electrical/solar systems Technical understanding of common photovoltaic electrical engineering codes and standards Desired Professional Attributes: Licensed professional electrical engineer Understanding of photovoltaic systems and the ability to identify design efficiency opportunities, and perform energy savings calculations using industry standards Experience with performance contracting projects Experience with Measurement & Verification Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office suite and CAD design software Desired Personal Attributes: Positive attitude Good interpersonal skills Ability to work as part of a team Well organized Self-Motivated and professional Multi-tasker Attention to detail
