Job Description

About This Role

SpartanX is seeking motivated and dependable Solar Installers to support residential solar installation operations across active markets This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, working outdoors, and being part of a fast-paced team environment

Solar Installers play a critical role in ensuring systems are installed safely, efficiently, and according to SpartanX operational standards The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, dependable, and comfortable working on rooftops and ladders in varying outdoor conditions

What You’ll Do Install residential solar PV systems according to company and manufacturer standards Assemble and install racking systems, solar panels, and related equipment Perform roof work safely and efficiently while maintaining clean workmanship Assist with electrical and mechanical portions of solar installations Utilize hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment safely Follow project layouts, installation plans, and operational procedures Maintain organized job sites and ensure materials are handled properly Communicate professionally with crew leaders, homeowners, and operations teams Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials as needed What We’re Looking For Previous solar installation, roofing, construction, or outdoor labor experience preferred Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Comfortable working on rooftops, ladders, and in outdoor environments Ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding role Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment safely throughout the workday Professional attitude and team-oriented mindset Valid driver’s license preferred Preferred Qualifications Previous residential solar installation experience OSHA 10 certification Experience using fall protection and roof safety equipment Basic electrical or construction knowledge What SpartanX Provides Competitive compensation based on experience Opportunities for advancement within a rapidly growing solar company Company-provided equipment and safety gear Team-focused culture built on accountability, professionalism, and safety Hands-on training and operational support Legal Disclaimer SpartanX is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values workplace diversity
