Job Description

Pearce Services seeks a Telecommunications Central Office Lead Installer Level IV for its Dallas, Texas location. This role involves leading a team of installers on the installation, reconfiguration, removal, and maintenance of central office and data center equipment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

About the Role

You will supervise installation teams and manage complex projects involving AC/DC power systems, fiber infrastructure, and telecommunication equipment across central office and data center environments. Your work will include direct customer and vendor coordination, quality assurance oversight, and documentation of project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise installer teams to ensure compliance with Telco Standard TP76300
  • Perform and oversee installation of AC/DC power systems and fiber systems
  • Manage project completion from start to finish, troubleshooting issues as they occur
  • Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams on equipment testing and integration
  • Conduct quality audits against industry and customer specifications
  • Develop and review Method of Procedures, work schedules, and project reports
  • Install and configure telecommunication equipment, data servers, and network devices
  • Test hardware and software performance and document results
  • Travel as required to perform installations, including potential international assignments

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of installation experience or equivalent training and hands-on background
  • High school diploma plus two years of technical school or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and laptop applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment background checks
  • Valid passport (preferred)
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and perform tasks requiring standing, walking, climbing, and working in confined spaces
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including potential international travel

Base Pay Range: $68,000–$80,000 USD. Compensation is influenced by skill set, experience level, and location. Employees may also be eligible for performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool and equipment stipends, fuel allowances, and per diem where applicable.
