Job Description

Pearce Services seeks experienced HVAC technicians to service and repair commercial cooling equipment at telecom shelter installations on cell tower sites in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. This regional position requires candidates to reside within 60 miles of Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas.

About the Role

You will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and install HVAC components at telecom facilities, responding to service calls including emergency after-hours requests. The role involves independent work across multiple sites, with occasional overnight travel and weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC equipment and refrigeration systems at telecom shelter sites
  • Install and replace HVAC system components as needed
  • Conduct performance checks and routine maintenance on cooling equipment
  • Perform seasonal maintenance and equipment upgrades
  • Respond to emergency service calls on an as-needed basis
  • Complete work reports accurately and submit in a timely manner
  • Operate company vehicle safely and in compliance with insurance requirements and DOT standards

Requirements

  • EPA Certification (Level 2 or Universal) — required
  • 3+ years of commercial HVAC maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of electronic, mechanical, electrical components, and refrigeration systems
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Willingness to travel extensively to remote work sites daily
  • Availability for occasional after-hours and weekend call-outs
  • Occasional overnight travel capability
  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Must pass Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying ambient temperatures
  • Compliance with OSHA, FCC, FAA, and EPA safety standards
  • Residency within 60 miles of Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area
