Job Description

Sunrun, the largest residential solar and storage company in the United States, is hiring Solar Sales Representatives in Southlake, TX. This is a commission-based direct sales role focused on residential solar and battery storage solutions. You will develop territory sales, engage homeowners, and close deals while building a performance-driven career with uncapped earning potential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage sales within an assigned residential territory
  • Conduct door-to-door outreach and follow up on referrals to connect with homeowners
  • Present solar and battery storage solutions, explain financing options, and guide customers through the sales process
  • Educate homeowners on the benefits of solar, including cost savings, clean energy, and energy independence
  • Track and monitor sales activities and performance metrics
  • Attend weekly training sessions to develop skills and enhance sales performance

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Valid California Home Improvement Salesperson (HIS) License required; candidates without the license may be hired as a Sales Scheduler (minimum wage, capped at 35 hours per week) and transition to the direct sales role upon obtaining the HIS license
  • Prior direct sales or commission-based sales experience preferred
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to work outdoors and walk for extended periods in various weather conditions

  • 100% commission-based compensation with uncapped earnings potential; top 10% of sales specialists earn $300,000 and above
  • First-year average compensation ranges from $60,000 to $100,000 (location and individual performance dependent)
