Solar Sales Representative

Sunrun is hiring Solar Sales Representatives for residential door-to-door sales in the Boston Alliance Solar market. This is a commission-based direct sales role serving homeowners in Massachusetts, with flexibility and uncapped earning potential as core features of the position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage residential solar sales within assigned territory
• Conduct door-to-door outreach and follow up on homeowner referrals
• Present solar financing and installation solutions to prospective customers
• Explain cost savings, clean energy benefits, and energy independence to homeowners
• Track sales activities and pipeline against performance goals
• Attend weekly training and team meetings to refine sales techniques and build skills

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Valid California Home Improvement Salesperson (HIS) License (required before transitioning to full Solar Sales Direct Seller role)
• Prior experience in direct sales or commission-based sales roles preferred
• Ability to work outdoors and walk for extended periods in varying weather conditions
• Availability for flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends
