Job Description
SOLV Energy, a major provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, is hiring an EPC Assistant Project Manager to support utility-scale solar and battery storage projects. This full-time position is based on-site in San Antonio, TX and includes travel to project locations; specific details will be discussed during the interview process. You will work alongside the Project Manager to oversee construction administration, cost control, scheduling, and procurement across utility-scale solar and energy storage installations.
Responsibilities
- Perform Project Engineer-level duties as assigned
- Maintain cost control ledger and prepare job cost statements
- Prepare billings and expedite payment processing
- Estimate, prepare, and negotiate Change Orders
- Write and manage subcontract Change Orders
- Set up and maintain CMiC project management system records
- Prepare bid packages, solicit bids, and evaluate subcontractor responses
- Review project plans for completeness and technical accuracy
- Prepare Purchase Orders and Rental Agreements
- Supervise and train Project Engineers and clerical staff
- Develop and document project procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, or equivalent hands-on construction experience
- 3–4 years of construction project experience
- 1+ years of scheduling and estimating experience
- Field experience as a Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent
- Proficiency with plans, specifications, and construction documents
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship

Salary: $97,767–$122,209 annually
