Job Description
SOLV Energy seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of a utility-scale solar project in Tonopah, AZ. You will work full-time on the jobsite, assisting the Project Manager with construction administration, cost control, scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor coordination. Travel may be required; specific details will be discussed during the interview process.
Responsibilities
- Perform Project Engineer duties as needed
- Maintain cost control ledgers and job cost statements
- Prepare billings and expedite payments
- Estimate, prepare, and negotiate Change Orders
- Write subcontract Change Orders
- Set up and maintain CMiC system records and documentation
- Prepare bid packages and solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids
- Write project procedures and standards
- Review plans for completeness and accuracy
- Prepare Purchase Orders and Rental Agreements
- Supervise and train Project Engineers and clerical staff
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, or equivalent field experience
- Minimum 3–4 years of construction experience
- Minimum 1+ years of scheduling and estimating experience
- Field experience as a Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent
- Thorough understanding of construction plans and specifications
- Proficiency with CMiC project management software

Compensation: $97,767–$122,209 annually (salary)
