Job Description

Moss Construction is seeking solar laborers for utility-scale solar construction projects in Arcadia, FL. This position involves hands-on field work across multiple project sites, with no prior experience required. You will learn trade skills in solar installation while performing general labor, equipment operation, and support tasks under supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Operate hand tools including tape measures, wrenches, hammers, drills, rivet guns, shovels, grinders, and rakes
  • Perform general labor duties on solar project sites, including site preparation and material handling
  • Assist with utility-scale solar construction tasks under direction of lead personnel
  • Support millwright, solar PV installer, or quality control functions as assigned
  • Work extended shifts, potentially up to 12 hours per shift
  • Work weekends, holidays, and overtime as project schedules require

Requirements

  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and lift heavy materials for extended periods
  • Reliable transportation to the project site
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays
  • Pre-employment drug screening
