Solar Laborer / Operator - Deer Trail, CO

Moss Construction is hiring laborers and equipment operators for utility-scale solar construction at a project site in Deer Trail, CO. This entry-level position offers hands-on training in solar PV installation and general field construction, with opportunities for career growth. No prior experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools including tape measures, wrenches, hammers, drills, rivet guns, shovels, grinders, and rakes
• Perform general labor duties on utility-scale solar project sites
• Assist with solar PV module installation, racking assembly, and balance-of-system work as assigned
• Work as needed in roles including laborer, millwright, PV installer, or quality control representative
• Work extended shifts up to 12 hours; overtime, weekend, and holiday work as required

Requirements

• Pass a pre-employment drug test
• Ability to walk, stand, kneel, and lift heavy materials for extended periods in outdoor conditions
• Reliable transportation to and from the Deer Trail, CO job site
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and in all types of weather
