Job Description

Enphase Energy seeks a Field Service Technician for a 6-month temporary assignment in Arizona. The position provides on-site support to Distribution and Installation Partners and includes servicing internal PV and storage systems. Regular travel of up to 50 percent is required, with possible out-of-state trips, overnight stays, and assignments lasting up to two consecutive weeks.

Responsibilities

  • Service Enphase PV and storage systems within the assigned territory.
  • Coordinate site visits with the scheduling team and homeowners to align Enphase Customer Support with system owners.
  • Perform onsite testing and diagnostics to evaluate system performance and identify issues.
  • Complete solar maintenance reports and required documentation accurately and on schedule.
  • Perform microinverter maintenance and update the Enlighten monitoring system to reflect changes.
  • Utilize standard field tools including drills, levels, squares, tape measures, ladders, and related equipment.
  • Install and route conduit, copper piping, and flexible tubing; pull and manage wiring as needed.
  • Participate in regular safety training and follow all company safety protocols.
  • Maintain tool inventory and adhere to tool management standards.
  • Meet domestic travel requirements including valid identification acceptable for air travel.
  • Work on rooftops and elevated structures regularly.
  • Follow OSHA safety standards on all job sites.
  • Train and mentor team members on proper installation techniques and best practices.
  • Review system designs and develop job-specific bills of materials.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience in electrical installation and service.
  • Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record; must be insurable.
  • Proficiency with computers and multiple applications; working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to read and interpret plan sets.
  • Commercial or residential electrical license.
  • NABCEP certification.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds of tools and equipment.
  • Frequent use of hands to handle, grasp, and reach; safe operation of hand and power tools.
  • Frequent standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
  • Ascend and descend ladders as required.
  • Work on rooftops, uneven surfaces, heights, and confined spaces.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions with possible exposure to electrical hazards.
  • Ability to work outside of regular business hours as needed.
  • Hourly rate range of $23 to $36, varying by experience, skills, and location.
