Job Description

Pearce Services seeks a Telecommunications Central Office Lead Installer Level IV to manage installation, reconfiguration, and maintenance of central office and data center equipment in Dallas, Texas. This leadership role involves supervising installer teams, overseeing AC/DC power systems and fiber infrastructure deployments, and ensuring compliance with Telco Standard TP76300 and customer specifications. Travel, including potential international assignments, is required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of installers on installation and maintenance projects
  • Perform comprehensive equipment installations, including AC/DC power systems and fiber systems
  • Manage project completion, troubleshoot installation issues, and resolve technical problems
  • Conduct quality audits to verify compliance with Telco Standard TP76300, industry standards, and customer requirements
  • Interface with customers, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate equipment testing and system integration
  • Develop and review Methods of Procedures, work schedules, and project documentation
  • Install and configure telecommunications equipment, data servers, and network devices
  • Perform testing and document performance characteristics of hardware and software systems
  • Travel as required for on-site installations and project support

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of installation experience in telecommunications, central office, or data center environments, or equivalent training and hands-on experience
  • High school diploma with at least two years of technical school, or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office and laptop computer applications
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment background checks
  • Valid passport preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring standing, walking, climbing, and working in confined spaces
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including potential international assignments
