Job Description

This is a commission-only Solar Sales Representative role with Sunrun based in Corona, CA. The position focuses on direct residential sales of solar and storage systems within a defined territory. Candidates must hold a valid California Home Improvement Salesperson (HIS) License; those without one are initially placed in a Sales Scheduler position at minimum wage for up to 35 hours per week until the license is obtained, at which point they transition to the full commission role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage sales activities within a designated residential territory
  • Conduct door-to-door outreach, network in the community, and follow up on referrals
  • Track sales activities and meet established performance targets
  • Present solar and storage solutions to homeowners, explain financing options, and guide customers through the purchase process
  • Educate homeowners on cost savings, clean energy benefits, and energy independence
  • Attend weekly training meetings

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Experience in direct or commission-based sales preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends
  • Ability to work outdoors and walk for extended periods in varying weather conditions
  • Valid California Home Improvement Salesperson (HIS) License required for the Solar Sales Direct Seller role
