Service Technician

Venture Solar seeks a Service Technician in Southington, CT to maintain and repair solar installations, with a focus on roofing work, structural corrections, and inspection-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair roofing issues on solar installations
• Repair drywall and home finishing work
• Address inspection corrections and deficiencies
• Coordinate with inspectors on-site
• Install structural components including roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists, and stud work

Requirements

• Hands-on solar experience
• Carpentry experience
• Drywall repair experience
• Roofing experience
• Electrical experience (preferred)
• Ability to work at heights
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license in Connecticut

Benefits

• $20.00–$27.00 per hour based on experience; candidates with solar experience may earn up to $28.00 per hour
• Full-time position, 40+ hours per week; overtime pay for hours exceeding 40 per week
