Lead Installer

Venture Solar is hiring a Lead Installer for residential rooftop solar PV installation in the Portland, Maine area, with daily reporting to Biddeford. This position leads installation crews through assembly, mechanical mounting, and electrical support on pitched-roof residential systems.

Responsibilities

• Install racking, mounting hardware, and solar modules on pitched residential roofs
• Manage structural mounting and physical layout of solar arrays
• Oversee conduit runs and basic wiring coordination with electricians
• Lead and direct installation crew activities on job sites

Requirements

• Previous hands-on solar installation experience
• Comfort working at heights and on roofs
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly, climb ladders, and work in attics and on rooftops
• Proficiency with power tools
• Valid, clean driver's license
• Availability for 40+ hour weeks
