Solar Sales Consultant

Venture Home is hiring Solar Sales Consultants for our Portsmouth, NH office. As a residential solar and energy storage provider serving the Northeast, we match homeowners with solar PV systems, battery storage, and electrical upgrades tailored to their energy needs. In this role, you'll conduct in-home consultations with pre-qualified leads, explain system design and financing options, and close sales.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners for in-home solar consultations scheduled by the appointment-setting team
• Present solar PV system designs, battery storage options, and electrical upgrade solutions
• Explain system costs, financing mechanisms, and long-term savings projections
• Close sales by matching customers with the appropriate products and services
• Travel to customer homes throughout the service area

Requirements

• Proven outside sales experience, preferably in-home sales
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for in-home appointments
• Solar industry experience preferred but not required
