Retail Associate - Solar Sales

Venture Solar seeks a Retail Associate for its Rochester, NH location to engage homeowners at retail sites, educate them about residential solar energy systems, and schedule qualified prospects for in-home consultations. This is a customer-facing role operating approximately 30 hours per week across five six-hour shifts, with required Friday–Sunday availability. Compensation includes hourly pay plus commission on completed sales generated from appointments you originate.

Responsibilities

• Engage shoppers in a professional manner at retail locations
• Educate homeowners on the benefits and mechanics of residential solar installation
• Qualify homeowners according to company guidelines
• Schedule qualified leads for free in-home solar consultations
• Accurately record appointment details and customer information
• Meet appointment and performance targets

Requirements

• Weekend availability (Friday–Sunday) as scheduled
• Ability to work shifts of 9 am–3 pm or 3 pm–9 pm
• Prior retail, hospitality, customer service, or sales experience preferred but not required
