Solar Sales Consultant

Venture Solar seeks experienced Solar Sales Consultants to meet with homeowners in the Brooklyn area and close residential solar and battery storage installations. You'll work with pre-qualified leads scheduled by the company's appointment-setting team, focusing on consultative sales that educate customers about solar financing, system design, and ROI.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home consultations with prospective customers to assess energy needs and roof suitability for solar PV systems
• Present solar, battery storage, and electrical upgrade options tailored to each household's utility costs and financial situation
• Explain financing mechanisms, incentives, and long-term savings projections to address customer concerns and build confidence
• Close sales by matching customers with appropriate system configurations and service packages
• Travel to customer locations throughout the service area

Requirements

• Proven sales experience, preferably in outside/in-home sales
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
• Solar industry experience preferred but not required
