Service Technician

Venture Solar is hiring a Service Technician in Hicksville, NY to perform repairs and maintenance on solar roofing projects. You'll work full-time on residential installations, addressing structural and finishing work alongside solar-specific tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair roofing issues on solar installations
• Repair and finish drywall on completed projects
• Address inspection corrections identified by building inspectors
• Coordinate with inspectors and verify compliance
• Install structural components including roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists, and stud work

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with drywall repair
• Solar roofing installation experience
• Electrical experience
• Ability to work at heights
• Capacity to lift at least 50 lbs regularly
• Valid driver's license in the state of hire

Benefits

• $20.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience
• Full-time position, 40+ hours per week with overtime pay for hours exceeding 40 in a single week
