Site Surveyor

Venture Solar, a residential and commercial solar provider across NJ, NY, CT, MA, NH, and RI, is hiring a Site Surveyor for its Providence, RI office. This full-time position involves traveling to customer sites to assess roofs and electrical systems for solar installation feasibility. No prior experience is required; the company will train qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Travel to residential and commercial installation sites
• Climb ladders up to 32 feet to access roofs
• Enter attics and other spaces to obtain measurements
• Measure all roof facets and document dimensions
• Perform structural inspections
• Test electrical panel voltage
• Record all survey data and findings for transmission to the engineering team

Requirements

• Valid, clean driver's license (required)
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs regularly
• Comfort working at heights and on roofs
• Ability to work Saturdays
• Comfort working in and around electrical panels
