Solar Pool Heater Installers

This full-time Solar Pool Heater Installer role with Sierra Pacific Home & Comfort is based in Rancho Cordova, CA, and pays $17–18 per hour. Crew members install solar pool panels, handle PVC piping, and perform trenching while reporting to a Crew Chief. Work follows strict safety protocols for rooftop tasks and begins each day with vehicle stocking.

Responsibilities

• Assist Crew Chief with all duties required to complete solar pool heater installations
• Stock truck with materials needed for each day’s project
• Install solar pool panels on rooftops
• Plumb PVC piping for system connections
• Perform trenching for underground plumbing when required
• Complete onsite job cleanup and clean work vehicles
• Inventory trucks and warehouse materials
• Follow directions from Crew Chief and Operations Manager
• Use safety harnesses, lanyards, and ropes for all roofing work

Requirements

• Ability to climb ladders and work on rooftops
• Ability to perform trenching for underground plumbing
• Capability to work in outdoor conditions including summer heat and winter weather
• Physical ability to handle workload including lifting up to 50 lbs
• Valid driver’s license with clean DMV record
