Solar Sales - Retail

Venture Solar is seeking a Retail Associate for solar sales work based in Epping, NH. The role centers on engaging shoppers at retail locations to educate them about residential solar and schedule in-home consultations. The position is part-time to full-time with an approximate schedule of 30 hours per week across five shifts that include required Friday-through-Sunday availability. Compensation is hourly plus commission tied to completed sales from originated appointments.

Responsibilities

• Engage shoppers at retail locations in a professional manner.
• Educate homeowners on residential solar energy benefits.
• Qualify homeowners according to established company guidelines.
• Schedule qualified homeowners for free in-home solar consultations.
• Represent the company in a positive and professional manner at all times.
• Record appointment details and customer information accurately.
• Meet established appointment and performance targets on a consistent basis.

Requirements

• Availability for five six-hour shifts per week, scheduled as either 9 am–3 pm or 3 pm–9 pm.
• Required availability for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts.
• Prior retail, hospitality, customer service, or sales experience preferred but not required.
