Lead Installer

Venture Solar is hiring an experienced residential solar installer to join its installation team, with daily reporting required at the Biddeford, ME site. The position includes a relocation bonus after three months of employment. Work centers on pitched-roof PV installations for residential projects, with support provided to electricians on wiring tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install racking, mounting hardware, and solar modules on pitched roofs.
• Perform structural mounting and physical layout of the solar array.
• Assist with conduit runs and basic wiring under electrician supervision.

Requirements

• Previous solar installation experience.
• Comfort working at heights and on roofs.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in attics or roofs under varying conditions.
• Proficiency with power tools.
• Valid clean driver’s license.
• Availability for 40+ hour weeks.
