Service Technician

Venture Solar is hiring a Service Technician based in Southington, CT. The role centers on service and maintenance for roofing projects tied to solar installations, including structural work and post-installation corrections. Daily tasks involve hands-on repairs alongside coordination with inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair roofing issues on solar projects
• Repair drywall and complete home finishing work
• Perform corrections required by inspections
• Meet with inspectors on site
• Install structures such as roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists, and stud work

Requirements

• Solar experience required
• Carpentry experience required
• Drywall repair experience required
• Roofing experience required
• Electrical experience preferred
• Ability to work at heights required
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
• Valid, active driver’s license in the state of hire

Benefits

• $20.00–$27.00 per hour, up to $28.00 per hour with solar experience
• Full-time schedule of 40+ hours per week with overtime pay
