Experienced Solar Installers

Venture Solar is hiring an experienced residential solar installer to join its team. The role is based in the Portland, ME area with daily reporting to Biddeford, ME. Work focuses on pitched-roof photovoltaic arrays for residential projects.

Responsibilities

• Install racking, mounting hardware, and solar modules on pitched roofs
• Perform structural mounting and physical layout of the solar array
• Assist with conduit runs and basic wiring under electrician supervision

Requirements

• Previous solar installation experience
• Comfort working at heights and on roofs
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in attics or on roofs in varying conditions
• Proficiency with power tools
• Valid clean driver’s license
• Availability for 40+ hour weeks
