Service Technician

Venture Solar is hiring a Service Technician in Hicksville, NY. The role centers on service and repair for solar roofing projects, including structural work and coordination with inspectors. The position is full-time and requires hands-on experience with roofing, drywall, and electrical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair roofing issues on solar installations
• Repair drywall and home finishing elements
• Perform inspection corrections
• Meet with inspectors as required
• Install structures including roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists, and stud work

Requirements

• Drywall repair experience
• Solar roofing experience
• Electrical experience
• Comfortable working at heights
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Valid, active driver’s license in the state of hire

Benefits

• $20.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience
• Full-time schedule of 40+ hours per week with overtime pay for hours over 40
