Electrician

Venture Solar is hiring an Electrician for its Youngstown, OH location. The role supports electrical installation and maintenance for residential and commercial PV solar systems across the company's service area that includes Ohio. The position is full-time with overtime available for hours beyond 40 per week.

Responsibilities

• Execute plans for electrical wiring on PV solar systems
• Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment
• Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks while ensuring component compatibility
• Prepare and assemble conduits and route wiring through them
• Troubleshoot to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair damaged units

Requirements

• Experience as an electrician preferred
• Experience in residential electrical systems preferred
• Ability to use electrical and hand tools such as wire strippers and voltmeters, as well as electrical drawings and blueprints
• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures, legal regulations, and guidelines
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders and work on pitched residential roofs
• Ability to work in attics
• Flexibility to work long shifts with paid overtime
