Job Description

Venture Solar is a residential and commercial solar provider operating in NJ, NY, CT, MA, NH, and RI. The company is hiring a full-time Site Surveyor, also referred to as a Site Assessor, based in Providence, RI. The position requires travel to installation sites and includes training for qualified candidates with no prior experience.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to installation sites
  • Move up to a 32-foot ladder from vehicle to site for each assessment
  • Climb ladders to access roof areas
  • Enter attics to obtain measurements
  • Measure all roof facets
  • Perform structural inspections
  • Test electric panel voltage
  • Document all site work and transmit records to the engineering team

Requirements

  • Valid clean driver's license
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
  • Comfortable working on roofs and at heights
  • Comfortable working in or around electric panels
  • Available to work Saturdays

Compensation is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience.
