Solar Electrician with Project Management

Solar Tech Elec LLC seeks a Solar Electrician with Project Management for full-time work in Central Florida. The position covers electrical installation and grid interconnection for residential and commercial solar projects, along with project coordination duties. Travel is required, with company-paid overnight accommodations provided for trips lasting 3-5 days.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical service equipment, wiring, and associated components for residential and commercial solar projects.
• Provide project management and coordination for electrical systems connecting solar arrays to the grid.
• Verify installations comply with company standards, electrical codes, and local building requirements.
• Assist solar PV installers as needed during system assembly.
• Adhere to all safety protocols during on-site work.

Requirements

• Minimum three years of experience as a solar electrician with project management duties.
• Demonstrated prior experience with Enphase installations.
• Experience installing PV metering and disconnects.
• Experience with Enphase and SolarEdge equipment.
• Experience with battery storage systems.
• Enphase certification for batteries preferred.
• Expertise in conduit bending preferred.
• Electrical license preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment criminal background check, driving record review, and drug screen.
• Ability to work on pitched roofs.
• Fully tooled for the role.
• Ability to work extended hours including weekends and to travel frequently with occasional overnight stays.
• Work schedule Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, subject to travel demands.
