Job Description

Solar CCS is hiring a Solar Installer based in Riverside, CA. The role centers on the mechanical aspects of photovoltaic system installation, including layout, flashing, racking, module setting, and torqueing, using Q Cells, Mission Solar, and Silfab modules mounted on IronRidge and Unirac racking with Enphase microinverters and Sol-Ark hybrid inverters. Background in roofing, framing, or electrical work is relevant to the position.

Responsibilities

  • Set and flash roof attachments to specifications to prevent leaks
  • Assemble racking, position modules, and apply torque according to manufacturer requirements
  • Install conduit and pull wire under the supervision of a licensed electrician
  • Photograph completed work for project documentation
  • Restore each roof to a condition cleaner than found upon arrival

Requirements

  • One or more years of experience in solar installation, roofing, framing, or a comparable construction trade
  • Ability to work on pitched roofs while using fall protection
  • Skill in reading plan sets and layout drawings
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
