Solar Installer

Knobelsdorff is hiring a Solar Installer based in Farmington, MO. The company functions as a turnkey specialty contractor handling Automation, Electric, Energy, and Power Services projects. This full-time role requires frequent travel to job sites, with up to 100% travel including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and installation of solar panels and related equipment
• Prepare job sites by clearing debris and organizing materials
• Operate tools and lifting equipment used in solar installation
• Assist with material inventory and job site logistics
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to travel extensively up to 100%, including overnight stays
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Ability to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, and walk for long periods
• Capability to work in hot, cold, or wet conditions
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs
• Physical ability to dig and back-fill trenches
